Waste Management Inc will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. Thursday’s trash collection will be picked up on Friday and Friday’s trash collection will be moved to Saturday.

Indiana County Solid Waste Authority’s office will also be closed in observance of Thanksgiving, as well as on the first day of deer hunting season. There will be no curbside pick-up of recycling on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018 or Monday, November 26th, 2018.

Fun Fact: November 15th was National Recycling Day. Indiana Borough recycled over 200 tons of solid waste during the third quarter of this year – which amounts to 24% of the entire tonnage shipped to the recycling center. Great work everybody!
