Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
Must obtain International Property Maintenance Certification within six (6) months of employment.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field preferred.
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Licensing and Certification:
Valid state driver’s license (required).
Class B CDL (preferred).
State Class A Subclass 1 Wastewater Operator’s Certification (or as required by the jurisdiction) required. Subclass 5 preferred.

Ability to frequently perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting equipment in excess of 50lbs.

Indiana Borough Police Department seeks applicants to join its team. Persons completing an application for the position of Police Officer must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Indiana Borough Civil Service regulations. Eligibility for Civil Service entry level testing is determined via the application below (also available at the Police Department).
Details:
Minimum requirements for eligibility are outlined in the application below.
Applications received on or before April 15 of each year will be reviewed for the June testing period (testing periods subject to change).
All applicants will be notified of their eligibility status and eligible applicants will be invited to participate in the testing process, which includes written and oral examinations and an agility test.
Applications received after April 15 will be held until the next testing period the following year.
Successful candidates in the Civil Service testing process will be placed on an eligibility list, which is valid for one year.
Candidates considered for employment will complete the full employment application and will undergo a background investigation.
