The Public Works Department will collect discarded Christmas trees beginning on Monday, January 12, 2026 for recycling at the Indiana County Solid Waste Authority. Please remove all lights and ornaments from the trees and place them at the curb, where you typically place trash. Collection is contingent upon weather conditions.

Keeping your tree a little longer? The recycling center will accept bare trees through mid-February!
