Indiana Borough’s annual paving bid was approved by Borough Council on May 2nd. Work on the following roadways will occur in 2023:

Bidded Paving Projects

South Avenue: 6th Street – Maryland Way

Clark Avenue 6th Street – Maryland Way

Willow Avenue 6th Street – 7th Street

Virginia Avenue 6th Street – 7th Street

Diamond Avenue 6th Street – 7th Street

Maryland Way South Avenue - Diamond Avenue

S. Carpenter Avenue Philadelphia Street – Church Street

Gompers Avenue 10th Street – 11th Street

In-House Paving Projects

Cherry Avenue Church Street – School Street

Klondyke Avenue 13th Street – 14th Street

Foundry Avenue Water – Nixon Avenue

Burns Avenue Cherry – 3rd Street

6th Street Clark Avenue – White Township

Poplar Avenue 3rd Street – Walnut Street

The bidded work is expected to occur in June 2023 and is expected to last for two weeks. In-House paving projects will be conducted as scheduling and weather permits.

Traffic for all paving projects will be directed in the area while work is underway. Notice for start and end dates of paving projects will be provided to the Indiana Gazette and Renda Broadcasting, as well as on Indiana Borough’s website and social media accounts.
