Last week, two stop signs in the Borough were retrofitted with solar-powered LED lighting to increase visibility for drivers on the road. Funding was provided by PennDOT through their local road improvement program.

The Public Safety committee determined which specific locations would benefit most from the upgrades by looking over traffic crash data. One is located at the intersection of Wayne and Grant, the other is the intersection between 6th and Washington.
