PSA Regarding Utility Billing and 'Bank Checks'

We recommend any resident paying their utility bill via a bank check to set their deposit date at least 7-10 business days before the last business day of the month. Most banks use third party companies for this service, and these companies mail a physical check on behalf of the bank customer. If the check isn't received by the last business day of the month, it gets marked late and a late fee is issued.

The simplest way to ensure your utility bill is paid on-time is either paying online, through the app, or signing up for direct debit (ACH).
