It's been reported recently that some individuals are canvasing door-to-door asking residents if they can look at their old electric and gas bills. Borough staff is aware of this and currently looking into the matter.

These individuals do not have a permit to solicit and have no authority to ask for such information. If approached, please note homeowners do not have to provide any information – no matter what these individuals may claim.
