September is observed as National Preparedness Month in the United States of America. To encourage citizens to learn how to prepare for emergency situations, the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) is offering tips and tools to help people better prepare for possible emergencies through their “30 Days/30 Ways” email campaign.
Those who register will receive an email each Monday during September with a tip for each day of that week. At the end of the month, you will be asked to submit a very brief survey to determine which days and ways were most beneficial for you.
After completing the survey, you will receive a customized ReadyPA team 30 Days/30 Ways certificate, as well as be entered into a random drawing for a wind-up radio/flashlight/phone charger!
