COVID-19 RNA levels at our Wastewater Treatment Plant have decreased for the second week in a row!
While this is good news, our recent samples has tested positive for Lineage B.1.1.7 - a variant of SARS-CoV-2 estimated to be more transmissible than the wild-type of COVID-19.

The B.1.1.7 testing was done as a courtesy from Biobot. No costs were associated with the results and there are no plans to continue monitoring our samples for the variant moving forward. This data is consistent with trends being seen across the country.
