The annual Veterans Day parade is tomorrow. (November 11th, 2022)
The parade begins at 10:45AM and travels westbound from 5th Street to 9th Street on Philadelphia Street. The front of the parade will pause at 10:50 AM in front of the Courthouse for a moment of silence and taps. The parade will end at 11:00AM.
Parking around the staging area (the 400 block of Philadelphia Street and on 5th Street between Nixon Avenue and Philadelphia Street) and along Philadelphia Street from 4th to 9th will be blocked off by 8:00AM.
All streets connected to Philadelphia Street (between 4th and 9th) will also be blocked off by the time the parade begins. Traffic will still be able to flow freely north and south at the 9th and Philadelphia Street intersection.
All impacted roadways will be fully reopened by 12:00 PM.
We encourage all that are planning to attend the parade to park on a side street or public parking location close to Philadelphia Street.
The Indiana Borough Parking Garage is also an option, located at 650 Water Street.
