Help reduce plastic pollution!
Evergreen Conservancy has partnered with the League of Women Voters and is working in conjunction with Trex, a composite decking company, to collect five hundred pounds of plastic and produce a recycled bench for the community.
The bench costs nothing more than the effort in donating plastic film that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
Collection sites for the plastics are located in Indiana Borough Hall, the YMCA, S&T Arena, and Bi-Lo.
See the poster for information on the types you can recycle. Please note all plastics must be clean, dry and free of food residue.
