Born June 23, 1954, Wesley R. Hite embarked upon a life and followed a career path that would allow him to positively impact the lives of everyone he encountered. As a husband, father, co-worker and public servant, Wes put himself last and others first. His professional career was highlighted with acts of bravery, decency, positivity, and productivity too numerous to list.

Beginning April 4, 1994 and continuing for 19 years, Wes faithfully served the Indiana Borough community and his fellow officers. Surrounded by loved ones, Wes unexpectedly ended his watch on July 2, 2013.

We will always remain grateful for his service and the sacrifices his family made as he protected our community.
