A big thank you to Renda Broadcasting and Todd Marino for the warm welcome to our new Borough Manager, Michael Foote! This morning, Michael described his start in New York and how he ended up here in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

He was raised in Long Island, New York and completed his undergraduate education in Florida. After spending time in Florida as an entrepreneur, he relocated to get his Master’s in Psychology in Colorado while working for the non-profit @Eco-Cycle. He later moved to Wyoming, where he began working for the City of Gillette @CityofGillette. He started a sustainability program there and decided to get his Master’s in Public Administration at the University of Wyoming @uwpride. After receiving his degree, he moved to Reading, Pennsylvania to start a new position in local government, and now he’s our New Borough Manager here in Indiana!

Michael also expressed his interest in introducing some new communications initiatives to ensure a positive and transparent relationship between Indiana Borough and our residents. He’s expressed his eagerness to learn and help Indiana grow.
